This is one of the best carbon fiber full face motorcyle helmets I have ever seen. The helmet itself is very light and very strong. The paint job is immaculate, the finishing touches, just perfect.
The lining themselves are extremely comfortable. As far as noise goes while at high speeds, the Nexx XR1R carbon fiber motorcycle helmet proved to be worthy of world championships. It is like driving a luxury car at speeds in excess of 110 M/h and not feeling it. Visibility is very good, offering you a greater viewing angle. Which is very important when riding in cities and crowded roads.
What I didn’t really like about the Nexx helmet was that you can’t swipe the visors quickly. It has three bolts on each side which you have to unscrew. Another thing to consider are the really long straps and the fact that you can’t close them if you have your gloves on. Overall, this is a must have for any biker out there who wants to be able to focus on the road and not worry about going deaf. The price tag is a little spicy, but it is definitely worth the investment.

The HJC IS-33 helmet is an excellent open face carbon helmet. It includes some very nice features that most open face carbon fiber motorcycle helmets do not have. And all of this for a very reasonable price.
The comfort level of the HJC is very high. You can easily fit a blue tooth ear plug underneath it and not be uncomfortable. It has a very surprising level of noise reduction. With the main visor down, you should hear 50% less noise. And I say main visor because the HJC IS-33 helmet, has two visors. It has a retractable sun visor under the clear one. You can lower it or retract it by simply using a lever on the side of the helmet.
The clear visor even has UV protection, a feature that most carbon fiber motorcycle helmets do not have. Would I buy the HJC IS-33 carbon helmet? Definitely. It is perfect for people who don’t like full faced helmets and for people who like to have some protection without sacrificing comfort.

The GMax GM 55 carbon fiber helmet is one of the best ‘skull cap’ type motorcycle helmets made from carbon fiber I have ever worn. Everything about this helmet is simply amazing.
The GM 55 fits very well on the head. It doesn’t have that mushroom look for any size I have seen. Even though it’s a half helmet, it stays on the head very well and doesn’t move around while riding. This is thanks to the high quality straps it has. They are not very long and the fabric used on them is really gentle on the skin. One of the best thing I loved about the GMax GM 55 helmet was the retractable sun shield. Having something like this on a half helmet is amazing. If there is too much dust on the road and you forgot your glasses, this little feature will be your best friend.
So this is one of the best half carbon fiber motorcycle helmets I ever wore. The lining are even made from Coolmax performance materials and Chitosan anti-bacterial materials . And since we are talking about lining, note that the Large and XLarge helmets are the same. The only difference is that the Large one has thicker lining. I highly recommend this helmet.
